Mine started at university with an e-commerce print business. My designs ended up in TK Maxx, Homesense and Vogue. Then I decided to open up a shop. Less than a year later, a car drove through the shop front. No, not a joke. A year later came Genesis Creative. "Genesis" is exactly what it was for me and it perfectly represents what I help other businesses achieve.
A little more about me.
Hey, I’m Naomi. Brand consultant, designer and Bolton-based, with an accent that nobody can quite place (long story).
I love finding out what makes a business tick. I started own whilst at university over 10 years ago and have been building, designing and learning ever since.
What started as a way out of my part-time job at McDonald's, ended up with me selling prints across Etsy, Shopify and Amazon, being featured in TK-Maxx, Homesense & Vogue, and later, the opening of my own shop. But less than a year later, a car drove through the front of that shop. No, not a joke.
A year after the incident, Genesis Creative was born. The name was chosen on the basis that "Genesis" means "new beginnings" and that perfectly represents what I help my clients achieve.
My aim is to see your business grow. So whether you're just starting out, starting over, or looking for a fresh set of design assets, I'll give you more than just a 'pretty picture'. My approach is rooted in strategy, creativity and honesty.
When I'm not working you'll find me at the gym, walking my sausage dog Misty, keeping two step-kids alive, being a PA for my partner, Matt, or eating and drinking something that completely undoes all the gym work.
