01. Onboarding & Briefing
A short briefing call to align on your brand, your priorities and how you like to work. I'll get everything I need upfront so nothing slows us down and the outcome is exactly what you want. Quotes, deposits and T&Cs are taken care of prior to any work beginning.
02. Design & Delivery
Retainer work is turned around within 2 to 3 working days. Ad-hoc in the agreed timeline.
03. Previews & Amends
Previews are always sent and any amends are included as standard. I aim to get things right rather than being precious about the number of rounds. A clear briefing and onboarding process ensures a smooth process here. If a project takes a significant change in direction however, additional time will be discussed openly and upfront. No hidden extras, ever.
04. Files & Sign Off
Final files delivered in your preferred format, ready to use immediately - print ready, digital ready or both. I also offer exclusive printing services to my clients if they need it.

For businesses that need regular, reliable design support, our monthly retainer starts from £250 per month. Retainer clients are prioritised, guaranteed a fast turnaround and work with a studio that already understands their brand inside out - so nothing gets lost in briefing and everything gets done properly.

Can you work with my existing brand?
We can work with any brand at any stage. If you have brand guidelines already in place, it makes things smoother for onboarding as it gives me everything I need to hit the ground running and keep everything consistent. However, if you don't have guidelines, or they're incomplete, don't worry - I'm experienced at filling the gaps and working with what's there to still get you a great outcome. Not having a full brand in place isn't a barrier to getting started. And if you're on a retainer with me, I can even build you a brand guideline doc to continue using.
What do you need from me to get started?
The more you can give me upfront, the smoother the process. Ideally I'd love your brand guidelines, any content you want included, imagery and relevant contact details. But I understand that's not always possible - if you need help with copy or image sourcing, just let me know and I'll factor that into the quote. The main thing I need is a clear brief on what you're trying to achieve. Everything else I can work around.
Can you help with content too?
Absolutely. If you need help with copy alongside the design, just flag it when you get in touch and I'll quote it in. A beautifully designed piece with messaging that doesn't land is still a missed opportunity - I'd rather make sure both are working properly.
Do you handle printing or just supply the files?
Both. I supply print-ready files as standard - but if you'd like me to manage print too, I offer a bespoke printing service for my clients. I ran a print-based e-commerce business for almost 10 years, so I know print inside out - paper weights, finishes, laminations, the lot. Great design shouldn't fall apart at the final hurdle.
What file formats will I receive?
Any that you need. Usually print-ready and digital are provided in a shared folder, if you need more, just ask!
How do amends work?
I include amends in every project quote. In my experience amends vary so much between projects that it makes far more sense to just get the work right than to be rigid about it. Some projects need a couple of extra tweaks, some need none at all - it balances itself out and I'd rather you were happy with the result than stressing about going over budget.
The one thing I will always flag is scope creep. If a project starts moving into new territory - additional concepts, significant changes in direction, or "can we just try this?" moments that take things beyond the original brief - I'll give you a polite heads up before anything changes on the quote. No surprises.
Can I brief you on an urgent project?
Yes - get in touch via email or book a call and I'll do my best to help. I'm always honest upfront though: urgent projects carry a higher rate to reflect the prioritisation required and I can't always guarantee availability depending on what brand projects and retainer clients have booked in. If fast turnarounds are something you need regularly, my retainer packages are genuinely the best solution - retainer clients are always first in the queue.
How does the retainer work in practice - what does it actually include?
Retainers starts from £250 per month for 4 hours of dedicated design time, on a 6 month agreement.
In practice it means priority access to me, turnaround times of 2-3 working days and a studio that already knows your brand inside out - so nothing gets lost in briefing every time you have something that needs doing. No chasing, no delays, no starting from scratch. Just reliable, high quality design output whenever you need it. If you need more than 4 hours a month, I can tailor a package to suit.
